Grade 8 Technology Education

The grade 8 program of Industrial Technology focuses on

• Safety

• Design principles

• Power tools

• Various types of materials

 

Students are evaluated on projects produced in class, written work and assignments, and adherence to safety protocols in class.

 

Students are required to have a notebook (into which papers can be fastened), a pencil, and a pen for every class. 

 

Students keep a daily log of their progress in class in addition to completing a project in class.  As well, there is a research project to be completed at home.

 

Students are responsible for missed work, and extra help may be available.
